CREATIVE ARTS ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
FALL SEMESTER 2009
REGISTRATION: August 23-28, 2009
LESSONS begin the week of August 31, 2009
$25 Family Registration fee per year due before your child is considered registered for a class. Only one fee per family! If you pay the registration in the fall, you do not need to pay it again in the spring. Everyone should fill out new paperwork and sign a revised contract. Take your $25 fee and completed paperwork to your private lesson teacher when you arrange for lesson times – before the first lesson.
Payment by semester is preferred. You can use your credit card.
Total lessons for the semester and number of lessons may differ at teacher’s discretion. So please consult with each of your child’s lesson teachers before paying for the semester.
If you choose to pay by the month:
o Tuition payment always due in advance for the upcoming month at the first lesson. Late fee of $15 assessed if tuition paid at second lesson.
o Make checks payable to Faith Christian School and give to Private Lesson Teacher at the first lesson of every month.
HOW TO SIGN UP FOR PRIVATE OR GROUP LESSONS:
PARENTS: Please contact the private lesson teacher of your choice (listed below) to set up the schedule for your child’s extra-curricular enrichment lessons.
These can be scheduled before or after school, or during a PE/athletic or elective class such as choir or drama IF that teacher and the Creative Arts Director approve. Remember: Enrichment Lessons are non-credit classes for a fee and will require practice or extra work at home. Once they start, student must finish and pay for the entire semester.
ART LESSONS:
(1st – 5th grade) $15 per group lesson plus materials fees (45 minute class)
Tuesday: 3:00 – 3:45pm or Thursday 3:00 - 3:45pm (depending on age/grade)

Worship Dance (Group): 3rd – 5th grade

Team Dance (Group) - Middle School and High School Girls. (Choreography of team routines) Monday 4:00 – 4:45 pm
Prerequisite: Dance Technique (can be taken concurrently) Jazz and ballet shoes required.
Dance Technique (Group) – Middle School and High School Girls. (Technical elements of dance)
Monday 3:15 – 4:00 pm
Private lessons also available (jazz, lyric, ballet) $35 per 60 -minute private lesson
DRUM LESSONS:
(K-2nd with parent involvement, 3rd – 12th grade) $21 per lesson plus music

Prerequisite: Play guitar or piano, write lyrics, access to resources

Prerequisite: Play an instrument, willingness to sing; access @ home to good computer; resources to purchase needed software
