Can you coach your football player to do what they are supposed to do on ONE PLAY? I mean, if you knew that on the first play of the game, of the District opener, if the kids you coached were able to execute their assignment exactly correct, I would have $3,000,000 deposited into your bank account. What are the odds you would MAKE SURE the kid executed his assignment perfectly? I bet he would be almost flawless. I'm betting you would have a different life after that first play. I bet if $3,000,000 was on the line, you'd have a spring in your step, an urgency in your preparation, an intensity that would force everyone associated with you to re-evaluate their own level of production...
Why am I sending you this?
Because there's more at stake than any amount of money.
It's called:
Your stewardship responsibility of the talent the Lord has given you
How is it possible that we could be more motivated by money than by pleasing God? Than by giving our very best for a worthy cause? It's a question we all must answer. Are we going to be our very best, or are we going to settle?
Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
