Volunteers - The Heart of Serving

Leadership is essential for Grapevine Faith Christian School. We are grateful for those who volunteer and who by the pattern of their lives exemplify Christ.

At Grapevine Faith we believe that parents, grandparents and alumni families are an integral part of what makes our school great!  Each person is gifted by God in unique ways.  And when we come together with our gifts and talents for a common cause, God is able to accomplish much more than any one person could ever do alone.

Faith would not function without the people who use their time to serve so diligently.  While the Faith staff focuses on creating "authentic Christian leaders" in our students, volunteers are able to serve the staff and help in ways that they do not have time to do.  It is an amazing picture of the Body of Christ in action!

We believe that God not only calls families to Faith so that their children can gain a Christian education, but also because the parents are particularly gifted by God to help the Faith Family.  I would love to assist you in finding a place to serve in our school, a place that utilizes the gifts and talents God has already placed in you so that serving is a complete joy!

I look forward expectantly to see what God wants to do through us as we serve side by side, because WE ARE FAITH!

1 Peter 4:10 - Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

Service Hours

Every parent is asked to serve a minimum of 10 hours in our school each school year.  Beginning with the 2011-2012 school year, I am asking that part of those hours be spent in serving with one of Faith’s 3 volunteer-driven fundraising events (WorkAThon, Destination Faith, Golf Challenge).  In addition to these important areas, there are serving opportunities in all areas of the school - ranging from ongoing weekly opportunities to things that occur only once a year.  We can accommodate parents who have a lot of time to give and also those who work full-time and are limited with their availability.
