Missions Integration

Missions Integration at Grapevine Faith Christian School starts from the moment a student enters the school.  What does this look like?  The following are a sampling of mission opportunities taken by the students of Grapevine Faith. 

Kindergarten
•    Collect toys for sick boys and girls at John Peter Smith Hospital
•    Collect gifts at Christmas and take to the Pregnancy Crisis Center      
•    Collect beanie babies for Children’s Hospital Ft. Worth
1st Grade
•    Visit senior citizen center for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's day
•    Participate in Operation Christmas Child
•    Collect blankets for GRACE outreach
•    Collect money and support a needy family in Tanzania
2nd Grade
•    Collect pennies for missionaries in Africa
•    Participate in food drive for GRACE
•    Sing at the Woodbridge Nursing Center in Grapevine
•    Collect underwear and money for orphans in India
3rd Grade
•    Collect Tylenol, Tums, and Pepto Bismol for missionary on the field
•    Collect coins for orphans in Kenya
•    Participate in the Shoes for Orphan Souls
4th Grade
•    Collect small toys for prizes to the orphans in Russia
•    Secretly raise money and help support teacher and daughter's trip to Russia
•    Write letters and send Bibles to servicemen in Afghanistan
5th Grade
•    Collect money for the India trip
•    Collect books, markers, videos, etc., to donate to Cook Children’s Hospital
6th Grade
•    Participate in Beautiful Feet ministries
•    Co-labor with Mission Arlington
•    Collect money for building fresh water wells in Africa
7th Grade
•    Participate in San Antonio missions trip
•    Write internet encouragement notes to troops
8th Grade
•    Participate in Union Gospel mission in Ft. Worth
•    Co-labor with Mission Arlington
9th Grade
•    Participate in neighborhood prayer walks
•    Participate in neighborhood holiday basket giveaways
10th Grade
•    Send off troops at airport
•    Greet troops at airport
11th Grade
•    Participate in Mission trip to India (Check out the blog)
•    Participate in Mission trip to Russia
12th Grade
•    Participate in Mission trip to Central America, last year Belize
•    Participate in Mission trip to New Orleans
